Hello, I'm Lori Perry, owner of Pair-A-Dice Border Collies. I raise and train ABCA registered working Border Collies, raise wool and hair sheep, and supply wool products. It's a small homestead located in south central Upper Michigan.
I've been an animal lover all my life. In the beginning my focus was on training and showing performance horses. I also raised and showed Rough Collies and had a small hobby farm with a variety of animals (though no sheep yet). I was tired of what was happening to the collie breed and left the AKC conformation ring. When my last collie passed, I researched breeds and came upon the Border Collie. I wanted an active, intelligent dog that I also liked the looks of. Border Collies seemd to fit the bill and I purchased my first one in 1993. My first exposure to herding was in 1999 at a Jack Knox clinic. I was hooked, and soon all the other animals were sold and I bought some sheep. Now Border Collies, sheep, and USBCHA trialing is my life. I also do dog grooming and boarding to help pay the bills.
